Nori does a lot of running, so I threw together a rough of what her run cycle is like. This is just a skeletal gesture, actually, but the poses are there. Originally I was going to have her on the ground for only two frames of a twelve frame cycle, but it wasn't going to work. >_> She still spends a LOT of time off the ground. It's good to have a reference for this, anyway, it's a bit of an eccentric run, something like "ninja" mixed with "Mario trying to fly."

Might move this to scraps if I finish a better one but right now I need to finish page six.

Oh, and if anyone cares this is a 12 frame run on ones, 24fps.

PS On an unrelated note, does anyone know how to crop flash files? This program DESPISES ME and I can't figure out how to make it not 550xwhatever the default is.

This is really cool. I love animation. What was the cool font you used in the preview?

It's called "bandit" and it's my absolute favourite! :D I don't know where I got it but a google search should turn up something! We've been using the font as the sound of the bells this character wears in the comic so it was fitting. :D And thank you!

To resize, where it says "24 fps" or whatever just under the timeline, double click it and you can change the width and height of the stage there.

Or you could just click on the stage once and then click on the properties tab..

It might crop her off as well, though, wouldn't it? I guess I'd have to do it beforehand. Thanks!

Not if you recentered her in all 12 frames which, if you use the align tools in Window>Align or CTRL+K, should be a quick and easy task.

Yikes. I need to take a class on this, thank you.

Personally I'd be happier sticking to pencil and paper animation. >_> It's so EASY to get it to do what you want it to.
